Features of interdisciplinary rhetoric of the ancient Arab heritage

Abstract

This study investigates the initial elements that the ancient Arab critics and rhetoricians added to the concept of interdisciplinary rhetoric, as defined by modern critical studies. There are some observations that lead to sensing some of the ancient critics and rhetoricians’ ideas regarding interdisciplinary rhetoric according to what was stated in their works and books.
The paper also refers to these copies of works, references, appendices, showing the compatibility of these books, works, and copies, as well as the concept of interdisciplinary rhetoric in the ancient heritage and the modern studies.
It is concluded that the idea of interdisciplinary rhetoric is present in the works of ancient Arab critics and rhetoricians, with some difference of the term that was coined by some critics later.
