Abstract

The study reveled  that the land of  Kuwait was considered the biggest part of Jerrha  kingdom. The manifestations of civilization that was revealed by the archaeologists’ shovels in sites like Umm an Namil ,Akaz, Failaka and Al Subiyah. In addition to this, the Ancient Arab inscription (Musnad), that is spread in the foothills (Jabal Wara),and also Khiran and Nuwasib hills. Also,there was found inscriptions on jars in Akaz site.
 The currencies that was discovered on Failaka island, had the influence of the Arabian civilizations. The graves that was discovered in Al Subiyah date back to the first century A.D. And archaeological materials dating back to the Hellenistic period. All these appearances indicate that the inhabitants of Kuwait B.C  were Jarhass , whom have a long history of international trading during the Hellenistic period.
