Solidarity, Challenges of democratic transition after the Arab Spring Revolutions: An analytical study of the Egyptian Case

Abstract

The current study attempted to detect the most important challenges that prevent the completion of the process of democratic transition in the Arab countries that have seen a revolutionary tide which have been known as the Arab Spring revolutions.
The study focused on Egyptian society as the basic unit of analysis, the study monitored the most important political, economic, social and cultural challenges that hinder the completion of the process of democratic transition in Egyptian society, The study showed the most important bases which the process of democratic transition depend on, and pointed out a group of results including:
The success of democratic transition relates to the will of political administration and decision makers to activate the tools of democratic work, and provide the safe environment to it, seeking for implementation of economic reform plans, benefit from the results of scientific research in fulfillment development and sustainable development, removing poor burdens, distributing the culture of citizenship, and respecting others, and making a state of civilized dialogue.
