Genetic knowledge production and The future of The Arab family Structure: A field study in Genome Sociology / Egypt as a model

The subject of research aims to detect awareness respondents genetic knowledge and its impact in the construction of family and marital choice and ask futuristic visions to build families hygienically safe. To achieve the goals we used the scoping research, and is the Form questionnaire research its tool, as applied to a sample of 242 respondents of students Sociology Menoufia University department, and resulted in the field study for the dominance of the traditional standards in the marital choice and build a family among the respondents, as they are aware of the dangers of inbreeding and reject it, and the results revealed the presence of perception between the subjects of genetic knowledge, but they have shown the absence of the possibility of technological intervention to change the genes, as well as the emergence of new selection criteria marital such as medical examinations and careful genetic counseling before marriage.
The search is over to emphasize the invitation of the official authorities to participate in the implementation of a proposal for a program entitled (genetic security of the family) aims to raise awareness among families and couples genetic knowledge and its benefits for the children and future generations, and introduce them to the genetic treatment of chronic and hereditary diseases and others, and make them aware of the importance of screening before marriage and other .The researchers must conduct more research in the Arab identity of the gene and how to preserve it, and social issues arising from the applications of genetic knowledge in the Arab society in general.
