The role of civil society in the renewal of religious discourse A field study on the legitimacy Assembly

Abstract

The objective of this study is to identify the emergence of civil society, the nature and role of Islam in addition to the role played by religious associations as one of the institutions of civil society and to determine their effectiveness and the factors influencing them in the renewal of religious discourse through the community: its members and ordinary members of the orators, preachers and scholars.
 We will achieve these goals in the study through two:
The first : the emergence of civil society in Islam and its role at the members of the community.
The second axis: the role of religious associations in supporting of social support and the factors affecting the performance of their role.
The study has drawn a number of results : the most important is Islamic NGOs role in alleviating poverty and helping the poor, as well as to emphasize the renewal of religious discourse through the spread of Islamic teachings which is not words only, but acts that does in line with the theoretical framework that religious associations contributed since its foundation in solving some of the social and economic problems, they also contributed to the providing of social care services for poor families.
