Abstract

Why and what about women?
The four development decades recognized the role of women in development, and this recognition changed from a decade to another. In the first decade 1960/1970 witnessed the recognition of the role of women, but as a separate category, and in the meantime women's social movements emerged, supported by many conferences to further the integration of women in development
From the above, the problem lies in ignoring the human side especially of the female in the development process as a resource in the service of the economy and production, leading to poor living standards and increase the unemployment rate among young people (male-female) as in Alwahati, community. The economic development and reform policies do not take into account the woman as a human being and as an important element of development. There was no clear will to support the poorest sectors of the population through the role played by civil society organizations in all sectors of Egyptian society. The opportunity for empowerment and participation of women and their participation in decision-making as constituting more than half of the community.
