Juvenile Delinquency in Kuwaiti Society

Abstract

The study aims to provide an analysis Social dimentions affecting juvenile delinquency in the Kuwaiti society, and through the identification of the general trends of the size and quality of juvenile crime during the period (2007 - 2011), and detect  the impact of the role played by the family through the process of socialization of children, and the school through educational socialization process for students, and Arab satellite channels and foreign and broadcast programs and films and serials on juvenile delinquency.
In light of this, the study found a set of results which comes in the forefront of that, despite the rise and fall in the volume and quality of juvenile crime during the period (2007 - 2011), there are many structural imbalances to hit the family structure Kuwait, and in particular the process of socialization of children, which is function inherent to the family, which led to weak oversight family to the children, and not interference in the care and protection of friends and bad companions, as well as disintegration that hit the social relations between family members, which reflected negatively on juvenile delinquency, as infected bugs also the role played by the school in the process of socialization educational to students, Moreover, that the broadcast by Arab satellite channels and foreign programs and films and serials are exhorted to juvenile delinquency.
