The votive deposits in ancient Egypt were a kind of alternatives to "souls", thus everything has an alternative spirit; a symbolic spirit representing its owner. So, the study shows the significance of what was found of votive statues, whether (human statues, animal statues), or formations of other things were as votive deposits in the temples of early dynastic periods, especially in the temple of Ibrahim Awad and Tall El- Farkha and Hierakonpolis and Abydos to find out their purpose. The study also explains many concepts related to the theme, such as spirits' statues- alternative statues and Symbolic statues", all of these terms strongly connected with the same idea.
