This study aims to investigate the linguistic phenomenon of duality (or binary opposition) in Arabic. It is revealed that Arabic syntacticans have been affected by social phenomena that are based on duality such as, feminine and masculine, big and small, and so on. The present paper has found some examples of duality among them are letter and word, vowel marker and diactric, nominal clause and verbal clause. There are also some linguistic styles which rely on binary opposition.
