Factors Attracting Audience to Interactive Forms in movie Pages on Facebook: An Analytical Study

Abstract

   This study aims to analyze promotional Facebook pages of Egyptian movies, and also analyzing factors attracting audience to these pages and also identifying ways that audiences can interact with administrators of these pages. This study depends on qualitative research where the researcher depends on content analysis tool to analyze all movies' Facebook pages produced in the year 2012 and identifying factors that attracts the audience to interact with the content. The study proved that there was a huge variety in using a lot of factors & elements to attract audiences; this was due to the interactivity nature of Facebook that helped in introducing lots of vine videos, comments, links to other pages, surveys, promotional competitions..etc.
