Wrong Parental Upbringing Methods and their Relationship to Creative Thinking for Pre-School Children

Abstract

The present study aimed to determine the relationship between parenting styles and the degree of creative thinking among pre-school children, and the extent of the difference in the methods of the mothers of children the highest and lowest degrees of creative thinking. And also aimed to study the effect of these methods on both male and female children of the current study sample.
In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher test sample randomly consisted of 100 children of whom (50) were males, 50 females, were also identified their mothers as numbered (n = 48) of the mothers-level socio-economic homogenized, has also been Use four codified Tools for answering research hypotheses: (1) test for draw the man (2) selection of creative thinking to pre-school children (3) parental styles scale (4) list of socio-economic level.
And followed scientific procedures to identify a sample of children with high degree of creative thinking (n = 24) and a sample of children with low grade in creative thinking (n = 24), has also been used t-test for significant differences between the averages as well as the method of  analysis of variance with one-way (One Way ANOVA) to answer the research hypotheses .The results showed that there are significance differences substantially between the level of creative thinking (high and low) on a scale methods of upbringing parental styles for the mother for  high children in  creative thinking, or in other words, that the degree of wrong styles that  mother used  in the upbringing adversely affect the degree of creativity of the child. The results also found that there is a significant relationship between the overall degree of creative thinking and degrees of parental socialization variables, namely: authoritarianism, extra protection, neglecting, pampering,  exciting psychological pain. the researcher also provided useful recommendations and proposals for future research related to the idea of ​​the search.
