Abstract

This research revolves around the specificity of the functional grammar in adequacy with functional linguistics in general and pragmatics in particular. However, we tried to limit our study to the teaching of grammar among the students of Arabic language department at Qassim University in Saudi Arabia, trying to follow the most important methods and methodologies used in the teaching of grammar by Arabic language teachers. This led us eventually to find some concepts and functional terms in the field are useful as they can be invested by Arabic language teachers.
