Abstract

Expansion in Arab Peninsula was a significant goal to Mohammad Ali Pasha, the Egyptian governor, for realizing his dream in establishing a great Arabian empire. But this goal was a serious threat to the British, as it Leeds to an Egyptian domin once over the Red Sea and Arab Gulf.
The Egyptian advance towards Arab Peninsula and the Gulf Costa began after signing کوتاهیة)) reconciling agreement between Mohammed Ali and the Turkish Sultan in April 1833.
