The narration is one of the oldest forms of human expression, and it is not limited to a particular type of literary types, but it is considered with the story, whether in the novel, or the story, or the theater, or poetry. It is contained in every literary type whatever its type. The contemporary poem metaphor from the other literary types of its instruments and technical techniques, which helps to embody the modern poetic vision. This research aims to study the narrative structures metaphor by poets, which they employed in contemporary Persian poetry. The research is based on the study of one of the poems by the great Iranian poet, Ahmad Shamlou, which is the hospitality poem published in his poetry collection "Dashneh Dar Dis دشنه در دیس ", where Shamlou was able to employ the maximum of what can be exploited from the techniques and narrative structures. The research was based on the formative structural methodology in the study of narrative structure. The research came in an introduction that dealt with the subject, its importance, the reasons for its selection and the followed methodology. Then it discussed the structure of the narrative language and the narrative structure of characters, events, time, place and others. This was followed by a conclusion of the main findings of the research, and then it was proved by sources and references.
