The religious and humanitarian role of DR.Abdul-Rahman Al-Someit on the African continent during the period 1980 to 2013 AD.

This study addresses the religious and charitable role of DR.Abdul-Rahman Al-Someit on the African continent during the period 1980 to 2013 as it one of the important periods of the Kuwaiti charitable work’s history, we are referring to the establishment of the Malawi Muslim Committee in 1980 to his death in 2013 AD.
Hence, this study is important as it shows the Kuwaiti charitable and religious work which came primarily for religious and humanitarian purposes and not for political or personal goals in this continent.
This study dedicated an aspect of spreading the Islamic religion on the continent through following this in many of African countries which languished in poverty and squalor. This study also addressed the publicizing of the Islamic religion, establishing mosques, distribution of volumes of the holy Qur’an, Islamic Preachers and Imams’ salaries payment and other charities.
We also approached the humanitarian aspect which including the charities of school establishment, drilling of water wells and help the poor people and widowed.
In fact there is a lot of reasons which motivated us to do this such as following the Kuwaiti charities of the Kuwaiti figures, most importantly was DR.Abdul-Rahman Al-Someit who has been valuable in spreading of the Islamic religion in Africa as result was the conversion to Islam by millions of people despite the difficulties he has faced.
