Abstract

This research studies the instability cases which affected on Jordan in the period during rain season 2010\2011. The surface weather charts (sea level) were analyzed in order to identify the weather surface system causing these cases; also charts at upper weather level (500 hpa) were analyzed to describe the upper atmospheric conditions. And this research used five stations to represent the Jordan to conduct some analysis.
The results of research showed that the Classifying instability of atmosphere which according to synoptic conditions Jordan faces during the study period of instability which is: Instability conditions associated with the cold fronts, with red sea trough, with the khamaseen depressions.
Finally the results of research showed that Instability conditions associated with the cold fronts stronger than Instability conditions; because the dominating atmospheric condition in the upper layers at a level (500 hpa) have a clear effect on the increase of efficiency of atmospheric surface system, and defining the amount of humidity.
