The flood scene in the quranic discourse A study according to pragmatic stylistics and postmodernism thinking

Abstract

An approach in this research is analysis of semantic dualities group. The first duality is a movement and stability, which surround the flood scene. It is appear in a quranic discourse into heavenly and earthly aspects. The second duality is a natural time and pragmatic textual time, which lead a pragmatist to distinguish between the shortest time of this supernatural event and its spatial union. Third duality is consist from symbolic and reality of especial movement of a prophetic ship.
At last, it seem for me, that these dualities are cooperate to create a discourse of flood. This discourse is open toward many cultural texts.
