A prospective vision of drug abuse and post-displacement period A field social study in Anbar after 2014

The problem of drugs, weakness of citizenship and belonging, personal and societal threats that citizen encounters in contemporary societies are the most important problems and phenomena threatening the society and its structure, affecting  the social tissue and the efficiency of job performance in a society full of many negative effects that accompanied the displacement phase in Anbar. They increased in post-displacement period constituting a direct threat to its human security on the one hand and a basic impediment to the progress of development in a society that wants to rise and change for the benefit of its members.
The present study aims at uncovering the most important societal variables that contributed to the growth of drug abuse phenomenon in Anbar, the most important effects that accompanied the displacement and post-displacement period in 2014-2017 and finally to reach a future vision concerning the study variables by proposing a strategic reform model that achieves the social well-being and limits the community risks and threats. To achieve these objectives, the researcher adopted the social survey method by selecting a specimen of (600) local leaders in Anbar province, using the questionnaire tool to obtain the real data and answers in order to enrich the study by information, get benefit to the researcher and reach a prospective vision after analyzing and interpreting this information.
The present study reached to many real and field results, the most important are:

The majority of persons that abuse drug are the security corps agents of the province, west of Anbar and Baghdad are the origins of drugs. The results of the study revealed that the most important reasons of abusing drugs and its promotion are the financial profit, helping  to keep up for long periods without fatigue and helping them to forget the concerns of life and social problems. Many societal problems accompanied the displacement period, the worse is the repetition of the same problems and even more dangerous during the post-displacement. The study revealed that there is a great sense of weakness of citizenship and patriotism, the reason is due to the threat of personal and societal threat that  citizen in Anbar is facing.
