The Relationship between Marital Conflict Resolution and Child Abuse in Kurk

This study aims at exploring the relationship between each of the following variables: marital conflicts, mother-exposure to violence, mother-witnessing violence during childhood, social demographic variables, and all types of violence against children in Al-Karak city. Also it aims at describing the major types of child abuse in Al-karak governorate. And to determine perpetrators in child abuse crimes.
A sample consisted of (57cases was taken as official child abuse case. A special questionnaire was developed as a research tool for this study, which was composed of demographic variables,; violence against child scale;. And Marital conflict scale. In additional to some other relevant variables such as child exposure to violence and child witnessing violence during childhood.         
 Findings of the present study showed most of the subjects were exposed to violence; witnessing violence during childhood, and experiencing violence in last (12) month. A significant relationship was found between exposure to violence; witnessing violence during childhood, and experiencing violence in last (12) month. A significant relationship was found between marital conflict tactics and violence against children.
