Abstract

This is a study of the political role of the Umayyad conquest of Makkah, up to martyrdom of the caliph Osman ibn Affan may Allah be pleased with him (AH 8-34 / AD 629/655).
Included on the preliminary study of the Umayyad and the position of Islam by their leaders of political Islam and the role played by the Umayyad conquest of Mecca and up to martyrdom of the caliph Uthman ibn Affan may Allah be pleased with him.
The study concluded that the Umayyad had a big role and effectively in the service of Islam.and they won the confidence of the Prophet peace be upon him and the confidence of Alkhalafaou alrashideen and showed versatility in the leadership of the Islamic armies in the process of conquest and received strong mandates has its place and these reasons were behind the jealousy and envy that led scholars of the regions to stir up sedition and revolt against the Umayyad.
