Abstract

This study aims at clarifying the image of the Persians drawn by Al-A’sha in his poetry. This discussion covers three main sides:

The historical image.
The political image.
The social image.

The study has concluded that the poet was in close contact with the Persian life, the political events of his time, in addition to his profound understanding of the Persian ambitions in the Arab Peninsula, and his knowledge of the different aspects of their social life.
