The Study addresses the early emergence of the Sultan, his cultural backgrounds, and efforts exerted by AtabikMohammad Al Bahlawan to establish his authority and reduce tyranny. The study explored the underlying factors contributed to division and separation of the Sultan from his cousins and what policies followed by the Sultan with the Emirs and subjects as well as influences on the state. The study demonstrated in detail the relationship between Sultan Tughrul with the Abbasid caliphate, and his combating role of the Ishmaelite movement, unveiling contributing factors to intervention of the Karj and the Khawarezmite state in the Seljuke's state affairs, as well as influences on authority of Sultan Tughrul which gone out domestically and regionally where the Sultan Tughrul wasassassinated and the Seljuke Sultanate has no longer in existence.
