Abstract

This study aims to identify the Jordanian foreign policy and its actions towards the Syrian crisis and the negative effectives on Jordan as a result of the Syrian crisis.

This crisis demonstrated the international positions and its pressures on Jordan and the Jordan’ foreign policy which witnessed a conflicting environment. This crisis has imposed controls  and tools on Jordan, which made the decision-maker live a confusing case as if he is in a mine field. The results of this study identify two censes. First, the Jordanian foreign policy has clear positions and define parameters which ensure its continuation. Second, the Syrian crisis has affected Jordan, and has had negative effects in various economic, social and political areas. At this point, the Jordanian foreign policy has proven its role in balance.
