Abstract

The study deals with the history of religious education through its different ages, and how Jewish religious education has been associated with the interpretation of the Old Testament, Where the establishment of schools to teach the Jews legislation and the beginning of these schools in the period of Fressin, but education remained purely religious education, And evolved later to become a role in the systems of oral Sharia "Mishnah" and the composition of "Talmud".

With the emergence of the Haskala movement and the call of its supporters for the need for renewal and fusion with other societies, This conflict, which later developed to be a struggle between the secular and the religious in the twentieth century, led to the development of traditional religious education and the emergence of many schools, of which schools were colored by the nationalist influence of the Zionist movement and the connection of Jews to Palestine, And the emergence of religious education after the announcement of the government of Israel in 1948, which entered into a major conflict with two opposing forces are: supporters of traditional education and those who reject any attempt to change and the integration of religious science with other sciences, and the second force is the secular camp, which was dominant in decision-making Israel. In this research we will follow the descriptive method in monitoring and narrating the emergence of religious education and its various stages and patterns.
