Abstract

This research attempts to uncover the self_semiotic in Mohamed Abdel Halim's Novel Sunset. It highlights the main features of self_semiotic in the novel. This research starts with a theoretical framework in which the term semiotics and its different subdivisions are clarified. The term self_semiotic is derived from semiotics.
The practical part of the research tackles many subtitles as follows:
_ Titling as asign of Ego.
_The body' gourney_desire_detachment.
_ Measurements of immanence: subjects of the inner self.
_ The self_identity unites work and love.
_Measure of pride: subjects of the outer self.
_ self_space and indicative aids:
                              1.Subgective aids.
                              11.Spatial and temporal aids.

In the conclusion the research highlights the main results he has reached followed by a bibliography.
