Water budget and its role In the water harvesting technology of the Schiller River basin

Abstract

The study examined the climatic budget, which is related to hydrological studies and climatology. The results show the water surplus areas and the water deficit areas in the Shillier basin in Sulaymaniyah governorate. The researcher used Najib Kharfeh equation, which applies exclusively to the climate of Iraq. The water budget varies chronically and spatially. The water surplus ratio is greater than the deficit in Schiller. When applying the Thyssen method to calculate the amount of rainfall with the depth of the flow of the river, the researcher recommended the need to harvest the surplus water through the construction of soil or concrete dams for the development of all projects Different in the future.
