The concept of strategic management among middle school principals in Baghdad governorate

The objective of this research is to identify the relative importance of the concept of strategic management among middle school principals. And the differences of statistical significance of the concept of strategic management among middle school principals according to gender variable (male, female). The researcher used the analytical descriptive research method for the occasion of this kind of studies in describing the phenomenon of the subject of the research and analyzing its data.
           The current research sample consisted of middle school principals in Baghdad governorate. They were selected in a simple random way. The sample of the current research was (116) director and director of middle school principals for the academic year 2014-2015. To achieve the research objectives, the researcher prepared a questionnaire containing (28) The results indicated that secondary school principals have clear concepts of strategic management and the importance of practicing them in schools.
