Abstract

Supporting the participation of Kuwaiti women is a high priority on the agenda of national attention. This is evident in the keenness to activate the political participation of women to consolidate the values of citizenship and belonging, and to ensure that there is no serious political participation in excluding women or marginalizing their political role. They are half of society still largely deprived of these rights.
The study proved that although the law and the constitution guaranteed their political rights to run for elections, vote, enter parliament, and assume leadership positions, the real practice of the political process by women is still marginal, and symbolic representation is dominated by the reluctance of women to participate. In elections, voting, or political action.

Therefore, women must be subordinated to political participation with their legal rights and healthy scientific methods that will strengthen the political status of women and give them confidence to win the upcoming legislative elections.
