Abstract

The experiences of poets vary according to their artistic visions and intellectual strands. Some of these experiences push the poet to express himself in a different manner that is not without a paradox. Paradoxically, as an ancient literary practice in our Arabic poetry, the poets adopted it to elevate their creations to the literary level, because of their impact on the recipient. They employed it to highlight the contradictions of the life they experienced when they moved away from simplicity and tended to cost and complexity. The paradox in the Arabic poetic text in its various forms, types and forms, from the verbal to the dramatic, according to the style and manner of expression adopted by the poet, with reference to the disparity between poets in the use of this expressive method.
