Abstract

This study aims at identifying the impact of the social media (Twitter, WhatsApp, and Facebook) on the family relations in the Jordanian society. It also aims at understanding the most social media used. The number of usage hours for social media. A social survey methodology, and a questionnaire were used as tools for data collection in the study. The results indicated the existence of a great influence of the social media on family relations that it amounted to 3.89 and the existence of statistical differences for the influence of the social media from the indirection level by (0.05), it is attributed for the age, scholar year, hours of usage and gender for the forour of females. However, the results show the lack of difference between statistic indicators for the level of the social media which is attributed to the faculty variation.
