Breeding of honey bees in the province of Baghdad ( Study in Agricultural geography)

Abstract

   This research deals with beekeeping and their spatial distrbution   in administrative units of Baghdad  province to year 2016 and these units included(Baghdad center/ karkh, Kadhimiyah,Tarmiyah, Abu Ghraib,Mahmoudiyah, Baghdad center/ Rusafa,Almadayin and Al adhamiya).                                   
The study results showed that Geographical factors Direct effectin determining beekeeping activity and the effect on numerical density of bees and its production . The study results showed the total number of honey bee cells in the province has reached 23773 cell and the total number of beekeepers has reached 695 beekeeper while the total amount of honey produced of administrative units in the province has reached 189989 Kg Almadayin district has been issued first place number of cells has reached 8200 cell and by 34.6% and 259 beekeeper and forms 37.3% and producing amount 61550 Kg Equivalent to 32.4% while the lowest number of bee cells and beekeepers and producing in Baghdad center/ Rusafa district as it reached 598 cell forms 2.5% and a beekeeperses only and by 1.3% and producing amount Equivalent to 2%.
The results of the study showed through used simple correlation coefficient of person . there is adirect  relation ship  between area of vegetation and preparing  packages and production and yield.
