Summary: This research aims to stand on the value system of Muhammad Al-Shahawi's poetry for children. The research came in two chapters, along with an introduction that dealt with the concept of children's literature and the definition of the literary value of the poet Muhammad Al-Shahawi. The second topic came under the title (what values are and their classifications). This topic dealt with the concept of values linguistically and idiomatically, then the occurrence of the term values in the Holy Qur’an and among Arab scholars in ancient and modern times and others, then some classifications of values were mentioned. As for the second chapter, it came under the title “The Value System in Muhammad Al-Shahawi’s Poetry for Children.” This chapter represents the applied side of the research. Which represents an attempt to reveal the system of values in Muhammad Al-Shahawi's poetry through applied evidence; The second chapter is followed by a conclusion showing the most important findings of the research, as well as the most important suggestions and recommendations related to the research topic. The research adopted the technical approach based on the mechanism of analyzing and interrogating texts, with the intention of extracting the value system in the seven collections of the poet Muhammad Muhammad al-Shahawi.
