This study aims to investigate the portrayal of the Egyptian president, Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, during his first year of presidency in “Russia Today” Arabic news website , to examine how it can be affected by the political relations between Egypt and Russia. This study belongs to descriptive studies that depend on survey methods using the content analysis approach to conduct quantitative analysis of a sample consists of 148 news stories. The results of the study show that the RT Arabic news website portrays the president Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi as a leader who was able to prevent civil war , fights terrorism, and has the support of the Egyptian people.
