Abstract

The research aims to examine the movement of the body and its language in risalat altwabe walzwabei by Ibn Shuhayd Al-Andalusi (d.426 AH), as one of the mechanisms for presenting the narrative character and drawing it in a suggestive artistic way, and since the characters of this treatise/story are mostly non-human (the genie, the devil, the follower, and the jinn animal). Her physical movement must have a lot of wonder and strangeness, and at the same time it is an expression of the writer’s intention, the power of his imagination, and the effectiveness of his influence on the recipient of his imaginative storytelling art. I relied on contemplating body movements, enlightened by what I learned of the principles of body language, which is a language of communication. Indirect.
