Abstract
The current study aimed to determine the degree of performance of intermediate diploma students in writing and reading skills from the point of view of Arabic language teachers in the colleges of Al-Balqa Applied University, and to determine whether there are statistically significant differences in the degree of performance of intermediate diploma students in writing and reading skills from the point of view of Arabic language teachers attributable to the variables of the study. (Gender, years of experience). The study used the descriptive survey method, and the study sample consisted of (64) male and female teachers of the Arabic language in the colleges of Al-Balqa Applied University in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The study tool consisted of a questionnaire consisting of (24) items distributed into two areas: (writing skill, reading skill). (12) paragraphs for each field. The results of the study showed that the performance of intermediate diploma students in writing and reading skills from the point of view of Arabic language teachers in the colleges of Al-Balqa Applied University was at an average level. The reading skill area came first, followed by the writing skill area. The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in the response The members of the study sample are attributed to the gender variable, while there are statistically significant differences in the response of the study sample members due to the years of experience variable and in favor of a group of 10 years or more. I
