Abstract

The research aimed to identify the political and legal considerations of the Israeli war on Gaza. The research dealt with the historical background of the Israeli war on Gaza since 2008, and to demonstrate the importance of political considerations for the Israeli war on Gaza and the positions of regional countries on the war, and the legal considerations that show the role of international humanitarian law and the four Geneva Conventions and their protocols. Additional analysis of the legitimacy of the Israeli occupation of Gaza.
The research used the descriptive analytical method as a way to study scientific phenomena or problems by carrying out description in a scientific way, to analyze social security phenomena and then arrive at logical explanations that have evidence and evidence that gives the researcher the ability to understand the political and legal considerations of the Israeli war on Gaza.
The research reached a set of recommendations and results, as the research made it clear that the Israeli war on Gaza is in violation of international law and all international norms, killing and destroying infrastructure and a violation of human rights. The research recommended that the Arab countries must activate their role through the League of Arab States and that there be a firm stance to stop The Israeli aggression on Gaza
