Factors Leading to The Spread of Violence in The Jordanian Stadiums from The Point of View of Members of the Administrative Members of Sport Clubs

Abstract

The study aimed mainly to reveal the societal, administrative and organizational factors leading to violence in Jordanian stadiums, and to identify the most important manifestations of violence in Jordanian stadiums from the point of view of the heads and members of the Departments of Jordanian sports clubs. To achieve its objectives, the study used the descriptive analytical method of the sample survey, and the use of the questionnaire tool that was applied to the study sample consisting of (180) members of the Jordanian clubs ' departments, and the study was used to analyze the data on the methods of descriptive and analytical statistics.
The results showed that the overall level of factors leading to the spread of violence in Jordanian stadiums was high, with an arithmetic average of 3.381.the results showed that community factors achieved the first rank in terms of relative importance, with an arithmetic average of 3.921 and a high level, and administrative factors were ranked second with an arithmetic average of 3.740 and a high level. The results showed that the overall level of prevalence of violence in Jordanian stadiums was average, with an arithmetic average (2.625), and that the most violent manifestations in stadiums are the cheering of fans with mocking phrases, objecting to the decisions of referees, as well as mass quarrels between fans of sports teams.        Based on the results of the study, a number of recommendations were proposed, the most important of which are: raising public awareness of the danger of violence in sports stadiums, tightening security control, and applying penalties against perpetrators of violence in sports stadiums.
