Abstract: The value framework and its role in promoting social responsibility in Bahraini society: A field study applied to a sample of Bahraini families

Abstract

Objective of the study: The study seeks to identify the role of the value framework in promoting social responsibility in the Bahraini society. Methodology: To achieve this goal, the analytical descriptive method was used, and the field study data was collected from a deliberate sample of 146 parents of Bahraini families who were selected in a non-random way, through an electronic questionnaire that included a number of axes reflecting the objectives of the study and its questions. Results: the existence of an associative relationship between the value framework and the promotion of social responsibility values among individuals, families and various institutions. In addition, there was agreement among the respondents on the importance of spreading the values of citizenship, belonging, loyalty and promoting social responsibility. In addition, there are a number of obstacles that limit the role of some community institutions, especially the family, the school, the media and NGOs in developing and promoting the values of social responsibility among families and individuals towards society. Recommendations: take advantage of various traditional and digital media in the preparation of specialized programs to raise awareness of the importance of Social Responsibility and the role of the family and various social institutions in their development. Also, NGOs and civil society organizations spread the culture of Social Responsibility and the importance of voluntary work and charity in promoting it.
