This research is a historical study that sheds light on the Egyptian side in the negotiations and the Egyptian president’s unilateral decision-making, which necessitated the resignation of three ministers in protest against Sadat’s management of the negotiation process, and the reasons that led to the weakness of the Egyptian position in the peace agreement, which made Egypt emerge empty-handed without any Gains from signing the agreement. I also focused in this research on what Egyptian Foreign Minister Ibrahim Kamel said about the scenes of the Camp David Agreement and his severe disagreement with the Egyptian president in managing the negotiations file. It also dealt with an aspect of the American intelligence’s study and follow-up of Sadat’s personality and dealing with him according to its conclusion that led to what led to it.
