The Egyptian drama's treatment of women's problems and issues: an analytical view of the series "Faten Amal Harbi as a Model"

Abstract

The study aimed to monitor the treatment of Egyptian drama and its analysis of women's problems and issues, "Faten Amal Harbi" series, and to identify the rights that the dramatic treatment focused on in the series for the mother's custody of children after divorce. Egyptian issues and problems and women’s issues, especially children’s custody of the divorced mother, and the sample of the analytical study was a deliberate sample of the series “Faten Amal Harbi”. Making fundamental amendments to the personal status laws, to ensure the equality of women with men before the law. The results also indicated the conditions created by the laws and procedures, and how they have become a sword hanging over the necks of Egyptian women. These laws are a gateway to manipulation and the exploitation of those same laws to attack women's rights, and this result leads us to the fact that drama can have an actual role in change when it is properly used.
