Social Dimensions of Students' Reluctance to Attend Secondary Education (A field study on a sample of students and officials in Mansoura city)

Abstract

The main objective of this research is to try to reveal the social dimensions of students' reluctance to punctually attend school in the secondary education stage.
The study relied on the analytical descriptive approach, the comparative approach.  To achieve the objectives of the study, the questionnaire tool was used on a deliberate sample of secondary school students, with (300) individuals: (150) individuals from public (governmental) schools, and (150) individuals from private school.
The interview guide was also applied to a sample of (10) experts in the field of education to know their opinions about the reasons for the phenomenon of students' reluctance because of their experience in this field.
