The role of job satisfaction in improving the performance of public relations specialists: a field study

Abstract

The study aimed to determine the role of job satisfaction in improving the performance of employees, spreading awareness of the importance of job satisfaction in improving performance (organizational / behavioral), Determining the level of job satisfaction for public relations specialists in Saudi hotels (by measuring this for a sample of five-star hotels in Medina). The study relied on a questionnaire to analyze the results of the field study by surveying (100) sample units of public relations specialists working in (ten) hotels in Medina. The problem of the study was to determine "the role of job satisfaction for the public relations specialist in improving his performance." Where the researcher studied this role, analyzed and described it scientifically, and recognized the dynamics of the work through extrapolation of the subject and the results obtained.
The study found a statistically significant effect at a significance level less than (α ≥ 0.05) for Saudi hotels to adopt the role of job satisfaction through (work wages, job content, work relations, working conditions). In improving performance through (working conditions, effectiveness of technical procedures, social factors of employees, subjective characteristics of employees) from the point of view of a public relations specialist.It was found that there were no statistically significant differences in the level of job satisfaction due to the variables (age, years of experience, educational qualification).
