Rhetoric of Intent and Indicators of Acceptance in Fahd Al-Askar's Poetry (a pragmatic linguistic study)

Abstract

This study aimed to show the trading value of the poet's investments in language (Intentionality) And clarifying the (Acceptability) for the recipients' acceptance of Fahd Al-Askar's poetry considering the great importance of the Kuwaiti poet Fahd Al-Askari as well as the importance of Pragmatic study and its relationship to textual cohesion standards (Intentionality and Acceptability) in the Arabic poetry. The study relied on the descriptive approach, and one of its most important tools is induction. The most important results; (Intentionality and Acceptability) are two modern terms corresponding to two ancient terms in the Arabic heritage (The Speaker) and (Recipient  Conditions), the eloquence of intent is evident in sounds, vocabulary and structures and the indicators of acceptance are evident in reminding the recipient of his heritage and the nature with which he lives.
