Abstract

Jhon of Salisbury was the most famous philosopher in the twelveth century
He was distinguished as a brilliant writer with a portfolio of antiquity, Greek and Roman novels. The problem of this study is to find out what Jhon of Salisbury s political philosophy is, and we have been able to do so by analyzing and evaluating his political writings. The comparative analytical approach was the most appropriate approach to the study. We have already realized his position on three problems:First: the relationship between church and state, and second: the concept of the state and its structure. The third is the assassination of the tyrant. Through this presentation, we can assert, without any doubt, that the political philosophy of Jhon of Salisbury did not live up to the level of political manipulations provided by the former.
