Abstract

Research Aims : Identify the Relationship Between the Patterns of Family Socialization and the Culture of Saving and Rationalization of Consumption of Sons .
Research Methodology: Descriptive Method  & Comparative Method & Social Survey Method.
Research Tools: Family Socialization Patterns Scale & Savings Scale & Consumption Rationalization Scale.
Research Sample  : Consists of Random Sample , Size of (400) Single From the Male and Female Students Residing in Rural and Urban Areas in Assiut Governorate.
Research Results:
-  There are Statistically Significant Differences Between Rural and Urban Students in Their Understanding of the Patterns of Parenting Attributed to Sex of the Sample.
While There Are No Statistically Significant Differences Between Rural and Urban Students in Their Understanding of Parenting Patterns Due to Educational Status and The Professional Status of Father and Mother.
There Are Also No Statistically Significant Differences Among Rural Students in Their Understanding of Parenting Patterns Due to Monthly Income of The Family.
In Contrast, There Are Statistically Significant Differences Among Urban Students in Their Understanding of Parenting Patterns Due to Monthly Income of The Family
-  There Are Statistically Significant Differences Between the Sample of Rural and Urban Students on The Scale of Consumption Rationalization Due to Sex of the Sample , the Professional Status of The Parents and the monthly Income Level of The Family.
    While There Are No Statistically Significant Differences Between the Sample of Rural and Urban Students on The Scale of Consumption Rationalization Due to Educational status of Father and Mother.
   There Were Also no Statistically Significant Differences Between the Sample of Rural Students on the Scale of Consumption Rationalization Due to Mother's Professional Status.
-  There are Statistically Significant Differences Between the Sample of Rural and Urban Students on the Savings Scale Due to Sex of the Sample, the Educational and Professional Status of the Father and Mother, and the Monthly Income Level of the Family.
   While There are no Statistically Significant Differences Between the Sample of Rural Students on the Savings Scale Due to Mother's Professional Status.
-  There is a Significant Correlation Between The Patterns of Parenting, as Understood by the Rural and Urban Sons, and The Culture of Rationalizing Their Consumption (Consumption of Clothing - Consumption of Food - Consumption of Electric Power - Water Consumption).

- There is a Significant Correlation Between The Patterns of Parenting as Understood by The Rural and Urban Sons and Their Saving Culture.
