Artistic Dealing of the Thug Image in Egyptian Movies

Experiencing Egyptian cinematic arena since the revolution of January 25 the appearance of a model thug as one of the models that have been submitted strongly in a number of films, and the current study aimed to analysis the artistic dealing with thug model in the Egyptian cinema films produced after January 25 revolution to reach moral and behavioral substance which submitted through it.
The present study belong to the type of descriptive studies based on content analysis on sample of (9) movies which included (21) model of thug through it
the most important results of the study on the thug image is that the artistic dealing provides the thug in the form of the male, young, unmarried, which is similar in the features of his face and body with the majority of Egyptian youth in popular areas, and he is usually intelligent and active featured and a number of ethical deviations linked to him, but the films presented him neutrality and did not support his actions and showed his punishment.
The study reached a number of recommendations, the most important of it that the movie maker should be careful when producing films provide negative models in society, such as provide any justification to the thug model, even if the motivation to his actions is self-defense and they also should focus on the models punishment so that viewers know that for every bad act there will be punished, and when they do that, the films will have role in spreading awareness among the public.
