Experimenting features in selections from the "Mento" theater

Abstract

This study examines the characteristics of experimentation in a selection of plays by "Suadat Hassan Mento", where the elements of difference and contrast in these plays are monitored at the level of content and artistic form. However, it turns out that the new foundations tried by Mento in the process of writing in the art of Urdu play, And thus opened the door to the Urdu play to enter areas that had not been before before the start of his creative project; Mento's experience in the Urdu play seems an important area in the study of his plays, through three elements:
1ـ  Attributes of experimentation in the event: where begins the first manifestations of this experiment in the content and theme of these plays, "the subject of study" and how to deal with.
2ـ  Characteristics of experimentation in personality: The study highlights the extent of the difference and renewal in the portrayal of dramatic characters, even the typical and traditional ones.
3ـ   Experimental features through narration: The study seeks to hint at the technical differences between technical mechanisms and what was prevailing before the start of his theater project.
These features are the characteristics of experimental literature. Experimental theater may be the main reason for the widespread use of the term experimentation. It has become the tool of the conscious writer to use it in the development of his literature, which makes experimentation a means of effective renewal.

Due to the lack of studies that deal with the theory of experimentation, the author of the research also presented a definition of the term and its significance and characteristics. The study also tried to approach the traditional theater discourse with the discourse of Mento by putting these plays on the test of critical analysis from the point of view of experimentation.
