Abstract

The study problem is determined in the study of the crime of electronic extortion against women. An applied study of a sample of Facebook users and InStagram, aimed at identifying the concept of extortion and its forms and factors. And the effects of this crime on the victim, and the relationship of this crime to the weakness of religion and family disintegration, to reach some of the proposals.
The study used the descriptive analytical method, and the study was applied to eight cases that could be studied according to the case study. Al-Dakahlia Governorate. The field study was conducted during the period from 1st March to the end of May 2019, by two days a week.
It was found that the subject is still silent about it, as it is rare for the victim to lodge a complaint, whether to her parents or her husband or to the head of the work or to the official authorities, as they consider them as the wording and motivator of the offender. The study also found a positive relationship between family disintegration and weakness Religious study on the one hand, and the demand for electronic extortion for women. The study has drawn a number of recommendations that push governments to carry out their duties through electronic programs and electronic systems, and the tightening of penalties, as well as directed to people and institutions of socialization to do their part.
