Abstract

I chose the book Bloher and Bodhasaf or the story of Bloher and Bodhasif in judgment and sermons, as his name was mentioned in some places, as the subject of my research. It deals with the biography of Buddha in all his ages and is considered educational literature. It is considered one of the Indian books that were translated during the Sasanian era (226-652 AD) during the rule of Khosrow Pervez. (531-579 AD) to the Pahlavi, and the Pahlavi translation was lost and the Arabic translation remained, which is likely to date back to the second century AH, the eighth century AD, and the Persian translation was quoted from it in the eighth century AH.
