Abstract

The study aims at analyzing the Land use map of the Kingdom of Bahrain using geographic information systems (GIS), their development, studying the stages of the Land use map and studying the most important factors and spatial relationships that affected them. The map of uses increased, which needs to be reused and developed in the future. , And it was found that the urban planning of the land use map dates back to the seventies of the last century after the flow of oil revenues, especially the establishment of many new cities and the expansion of villages and the planning of old cities, and associated with the extension of networks of roads and streets and water networks and Electricity, utilities and services.  
It can be said that there is a difference between the two land use maps for a period of 40 years (1975 - 2015). The area of ​​Bahrain increased to approximately 117 km 2 due to land reclamation and reclamation. The study is based on the pre-planning of the new uses in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
